A chloride-free additive which, by acting on the cement with a chemical-physical action, accelerates the development of heat of hydration and consequently prevents the formation of ice in mixtures.
Fields of application: SIRIOGEL 100 L is used in mortars and all types of concrete: normal, reinforced, precast, and being a chloride-free product, it is also widely used in pre-stressed concrete.
Advantages: possibility of applying cement-based products during the winter months with temperatures as low as 10° C; advancement of concrete strength at low temperatures favouring faster utilisation of formwork; increase in initial strength in order to preserve concrete from frost damage and increased cohesion of the mix preventing segregation.
Dosage: 1-2% by weight of cement.
