GIUNTOFLEX is a single-component polyurethane adhesive/sealant with a medium elastic modulus that cures under the influence of atmospheric moisture.
Easy to work with, it features thixotropic behavior that prevents sagging. It maintains permanent elasticity and offers high resistance to abrasion and tearing. It effectively resists weathering, chemicals, and UV rays. Paintable.
Fields of application: GIUNTOFLEX adheres to cementitious substrates, bricks, tiles, building materials in general, wood, aluminum, sheet metal, steel, and copper. Extremely versatile, it is used as a sealant for floor joints, for outdoor use on cement joints of irrigation channels—even in contact with water—for sealing frames between walls and fixtures, and in metal constructions such as sheet metal work, roofing, and air ducts, as well as in the assembly of insulating glass units with butyl barriers. It can also be used to seal micro-cracks in concrete pipes.
Advantages: the product bonds and seals simultaneously, making it easy to apply thanks to its excellent finishing consistency, and remains permanently elastic, allowing joint movements up to ±25%. Thanks to its good thixotropy, it does not sag, offers resistance to impacts and shocks with excellent vibration and sound damping properties, and ensures excellent primerless adhesion to the most common building and industrial materials, also enabling elastic bonding between metal, plastic, glass, and other materials. The product does not stain, behaves neutrally, and does not damage bonding surfaces, showing good resistance to aging, weathering, detergents, seawater, and brackish water.
Packaging: 600 ml aluminum foil sachets (20 sachets per pack).
