RESIVIL is a compound of synthetic polymers specifically designed for the preparation of cementitious mortars with high adhesive strength to the substrate.
RESIVIL gives the mix a remarkable thixotropic behavior, facilitating the restoration of vertical surfaces.
Fields of application: it is suitable for construction joints, patching, and repairs of any size on floors, walls, tunnels, and similar structures; for industrial floors, runways, and horizontal surfaces in general; as well as for the application of plasters on smooth substrates.
Directions for use:
• CONSTRUCTION JOINTS: apply a very fluid cement slurry onto the existing surface, prepared by adding to the cement a solution consisting of 1 part water and 1 part RESIVIL. Carry out the concrete pour while the slurry is still fresh.
• PATCHING AND REPAIRS: prepare a sand and cement mortar in a 3:1 ratio and hydrate it with a solution composed of 3 parts water and 1 part RESIVIL.
• PLASTERS AND THIN LAYER OVERLAYS: apply to the surfaces to be coated a fluid mortar made with 1 part sand and 1 part cement, hydrated with a solution of 1 part RESIVIL and 1 part water. Then apply the plaster composed of 3 parts sand and 1 part cement, hydrated with a solution of 1 part RESIVIL and 4 parts water.
Packaging: 220 kg drum; 25 kg, 10 kg, and 5 kg canisters.
