SIRIOCRYL is a concentrated acrylic copolymer, APEO free, suitably additivated to protect any concrete or stone surface from chemical attack, frost, and pollutants (acid rain, carbonation, exhaust gases, etc.).
It can be mixed into cementitious blends to produce slurries or mortars that are particularly resistant to weathering and provide strong adhesion to existing cementitious substrates. It is also suitable for construction joints.
Fields of application: surface waterproofing of below-ground walls, elevator shafts, basements, natural or artificial stone, cement-based plasters, precast concrete panels, construction joints, etc. Treated surfaces achieve an excellent level of waterproofing and, thanks to the elastic film, offer virtually unlimited durability over time. Non-structural construction joints.
Directions for use: mix one part of resin with three parts of water. The resulting product must be applied by brush or spray onto the surface to be waterproofed in a maximum of two coats, taking care to apply subsequent coats before the product has polymerized (wet on wet).
Surfaces to be waterproofed must be cleaned of dust and any other contaminants; pre-wet the surface with water until saturation.
Surfaces treated in this way achieve an excellent level of waterproofing and, thanks to the elastic film, have unlimited durability over time.
Do not apply the product on very hot surfaces or when there is an immediate risk of rain. After application, protect the treated surface.
Consumption: 250–300 g/m2 (depending on substrate absorbency).
Packaging: 1050 kg tank; 220 kg drum; 25 kg, 10 kg, and 5 kg canisters.
