Setting and hardening accelerator: SIRIOMIX is a ready-to-use, chloride-free chemical agent that allows significant reductions in the setting and hardening times of concrete without altering its workability.
Fields of application: SIRIOMIX is particularly suitable for the precast concrete industry for the production of civil and industrial structures.
It is also recommended for all types of ready-mixed concrete during the winter period.
Directions for use: SIRIOMIX should be dosed at 0.8–1.5% by weight of cement (0.8–1.5 kg per 100 kg of cement), depending on the desired acceleration results. It can be added to the concrete mixer during mixing for the time necessary to ensure uniform dispersion throughout the mix (approximately 5 minutes at maximum speed).
It is recommended to carry out preliminary mixes with different SIRIOMIX dosages in order to determine the exact quantity required, depending on the quality of the cement used in the mix and the temperature measured during mixing.
Dosage: 0.8–1.5 kg per 100 kg of cement.
